Hello! I am Janet Astrid from León Guanajuato, Mexico. I consider myself a happy, friendly, open person, eager to share about my culture and, in turn, to get to know many others. I am a civil engineering student and I recently did an academic exchange in Colombia, so at the same time I had the opportunity to travel within the country and get to know it a bit more. Since I was little I have liked to practice sports such as soccer, basketball, swimming, among others. I also like to make desserts, read, travel, meet new places and new people, among other things. For as long as I can remember, I have great appreciation and affection for my hometown, which is León, but until recently I realized that in its The vast majority of people know the city or visit it only because it is "the capital of leather and footwear", and not because of the beautiful and wonderful emblematic places it has. Not even for the big events that there are (some being international). That is why I am now being part of this community (from another perspective), to be able to show that León is more than just the leather, footwear and hat industry.

The tour cover the highlights of León, plus a little extra. The guide recommended places to eat or try as she shared facts about the town. I had fun and was able to learn a lot more about León.
