I am passionate about cycling, the history and customs of Valencia, and with all that I have created a ride that is an adventure to get to know all the Valencias that this city contains. Valencia has two great jewels in its city, the Ciutat Vella and the City of Arts and Sciences. But its true treasure is the Albufera de Valencia , and we want to show you this wonder of nature and history.
From the marked meeting point, we will leave for the garden of the old river of Valencia , passing through the City of Arts and Sciences , a place with monumental buildings of incredible beauty of natural inspiration.
We will continue crossing the famous Valencian orchards in the direction of the Albufera beaches where we will find remains of the passage of the Romans, the reconquest and the traditional inhabitants of the Albufera.
We will cross dunes and Mediterranean forest to reach the small lake of Puzol full of birds that make up a unique ecosystem.
We will go to the Albufera pier , from where whoever wishes can make a charming journey in the traditional boats of the inhabitants of the Albufera.
From here, we will start the return enjoying the light and the aromas of the Mediterranean in its purest form.
Do not forget to bring your camera or prepare your phone to take spectacular photos.
Important information:
- The duration of the bike ride is 3 to 4 hours, we will march to the rhythm of the group.
- On the tour we will make a small 10-minute stop to have drinks and use the bathrooms.
- The boat ride is not included and its cost varies throughout the year.
- A bicycle is necessary to carry out the tour that is not included in the tour
- Bike prices: €30 for an electric bike, €10 for a normal bike.
I will be with my bike next to the Palau de la Música fountain with a bikes4tours vest and a bicycle bumper as a helmet.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
