We had an awesome tour with David! He is a very passionate storyteller and knows the hidden corners of interest in downtown KL Chinatown area, which to the uninitiated may be just rows of old shophouses but when he led with the stories, these places were brought back to life. We also enjoyed the little sojourn for a cuppa Hainanese coffee in an authentic place that we wouldn’t have known to go by ourselves. He is very well versed on the local cultural practices and explains very well the historical significance of each place. A truly well enjoyed tour which we would highly recommend.

The tour was nice to get to know some aspects of KL chinatown (it's not an actual general tour in KL). The rhythm can be improved, maybe spending less time in some places and visiting a bit more.

After everyone paid the tip, he told us the tour was actually worth around MYR250 to MYR300 with reference to a private tour. I was surprised and I wonder why he doesn't go to guide a private tour, instead of staying here to suffer from the income loss? Please respect the free walking tour.
