List of places we will visit:
- Plaza de Armas: This is the oldest and most historic square in Old Havana. Take a walk around the square and admire the beautiful colonial architecture, including the Palace of the General Captains and the Castillo de la Real Fuerza.
- Plaza de San Francisco: From the Plaza de Armas, head east towards Plaza de San Francisco. This square is home to the impressive Basilica Menor de San Francisco de Asís, which dates back to the 16th century.
- Plaza Vieja: Next, head north to Plaza Vieja. This lively square is a great place to stop for a drink or bite to eat and soak up the vibrant atmosphere. Don't miss the beautiful Casa del Conde Jaruco, dating from the 18th century.
- Plaza de la Catedral – Finally, head east to Plaza de la Catedral. This square is home to the impressive Catedral de San Cristóbal de la Habana, which is one of the most beautiful examples of Baroque architecture in Cuba. Be sure to take some time to explore the surrounding streets, which are lined with charming shops, restaurants, and cafes.
