Hello! We are extremely pleased to meet you and to have the opportunity to show you our beloved city. We are a group of guides with diverse backgrounds and professions, but we all share the same passion: our beautiful city, whether we have adopted it or it's our hometown, the historic and cosmopolitan Marseille. Coming from Argentina, Marseille, Spain, Venezuela, and with skills ranging from professional guiding to anthropology and journalism, we have all dedicated our best efforts to prepare our tours. These tours are filled with history, anecdotes, and current events, narrated by people who have lived in this city for years. We are more than willing to share all of this and much more with you in a fun, educational, and entertaining way. We look forward to having you with us!

Tour description

Come tour the other side of the old port with us on this cultural tour. We will see the less known part of the port, the south side.

During our two-hour tour, we will visit

  • La Cannebière and its shocking story.
  • We will go through the typical Noailles neighborhood to talk about two must-see places in the area before entering Rue St. Férreol
  • The Marseille Opera.

All this would not be complete if we did not tell you about the history of the place, mentioning, among others, the:

  • Galley Arsenal,
  • Pierre Puget
  • The particularities of Marseille soap and much more.

Having seen La Criée, we will end our tour at a panoramic point of the city, right in front of the St. Victor Abbey.

We are waiting for you!

Santiago es un guía que te inspira y te promociona Marsella desde el minuto número uno. Exhaustiva y completa la información que da sobre la historia y cultura, las calles etc de Marsella...de 10! Me encanto. Me gusto mucho el tour que hizo de tarde del recorrido cultural de Marsella, aunque pasarlo a la mañana hubiera estado también muy buen. Gracias por tu ayuda y simpatía.
