Toronto is my city and I have been here my whole life, just about. I love travelling, reading, hiking, doing yoga and socializing. I am interested in all peoples from around the world as variety is the spice of life. 🤩🤩 I endeavour to provide you an insiders’ view of this wonderful city. B for beer breweries (Toronto has exploded with local craft beer) and books,
C for culture and cuisine.
We will be walking about 3 km in total, but stopping all along the way. This will hit the hidden part of Toronto, not the major tourist areas so that you can have an insiders' experience of what the locals do. It will be very interesting - this much is guaranteed!! 🤩🤩 Thank you for your time and for giving me the opportunity to showcase my city.

Local brewery with craft beer to begin our Toronto exploration. What a great way to start the walk about by purchasing yourself a pint (or half)of a local brew!
Mercer Union is a non-profit, artist-run centre dedicated to commissioning and producing new works of contemporary art. We will do a quick walk about to admire the aesthetics of the place, but more time (beyond what can be afforded on this tour would be required to enjoy the exhibits!) This is unfortunately closed till the end of Jan 2024 so we will go to another gallery instead.
Funky store featuring rare & unique 20th-century printed items, with a used-book vending machine. You have to use your own coin. 😁
Warm, casual & family-owned stop offering Ethiopian fare such as spicy curries, injera & veggies. A great place to come for dinner but we will not go in.
Tapioca is a typical and beloved Brazilian street food, the main ingredient having been historically cultivated by its native people. You will have to try the tapioca crepe! If something looks real tasty, you have the time to purchase! 😋
Our mission is to celebrate and advance the art of documentary by bringing outstanding films to our audiences and providing essential programs and opportunities for filmmakers. If you want to watch a documentary, you will have to purchase the ticket yourself.
Gallery 555 is a contemporary gallery space focused on showcasing emerging artists. The space combines art with healing practices including in-house acupuncture and yoga workshops.
