Tour description

Most people coming to Rotterdam are expecting a city full of stunning modern architecture because the city had to be rebuilt after the bombardment of the centre on May 14th 1940. However there is much more to Rotterdam than that and I love to show visitors some of the other faces of the city. In particular I love to show some of the interesting and hidden gems which I have discovered during the 30 years I've lived here, including my Secret Garden, the Echo Wall and a restoration project of a historic building in the south of the city in which I have been personally involved for more than 10 years and which is now completely realised as a local cultural centre. I also can suggest some of my favourite shops and restaurants.

David was an excellent guide and very friendly. We really enjoyed our tour with him, which was even better because the sun was shining :) David has a wealth of knowledge about the city and it's history, and an engaging personality. We would 100% recommend taking David's tour.
