Hello! I am Pau from Valencia, I am local and I was born and raised here. My work as an adventure guide around the world (+90 countries) has brought me closer to also showing my incredible city. I am passionate about archeology and history, but also sports, especially snowboarding, diving, climbing, caving, sailing and high mountains.
Valencia Bike River Tour is the most complete tour of the Valencia River.
You will learn about the history of Valencia by doing sports in the most enjoyable and fun way. You will also discover the secret corners of the Turia River and the anecdotes of the city.
You will need to bring your bicycle (your own or rental) or you can rent it just before the start of the Tour at the meeting point (not included in the tour) 7 euros 4 hours or 10 euros for the full day or electric bike for 15 euros 4 hours.
We will leave the historic center of Valencia, we will arrive at the Parque de Cabecera with its lagoons, and we will end in the famous City of Arts and Sciences, approximately 12km of flat route by bicycle.
We Valencians know it as the Old Channel of the Turia River and it is the longest urban park in Europe.
With dozens of different spaces and 24-hour life when touring it by bicycle, we will learn the most interesting details of the history of Valencia (Roman, Muslim and Christian) and its close relationship with the importance of our river, the Turia River.
I will be right in front of the RentalBikeHere bike rental store on 1 Sagunto Street, just at the end of the Torres de Serranos bridge, 15 minutes before the Tour in case you need a rental bike. I will carry a yellow backpack.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
