Loved the food tour with Lupita. She took us to very local food vendors with delicious food and spoke about many varied topics, answered all our questions and took care to accommodate our needs. Highly recommend!

It was the most fantastic food tour I've been on, with Arturo giving fascinating information about how certain plants are used for making food and other purposes, and how some are linked to the history of a place. Importantly, Arturo really listened to my experience of Mexican food in order to tailor what he was showing me on the day, to ensure that I tried something new on the tour. This might have been made possible as there was just me on the tour, instead of a group. He also told lovely stories about some murals along the way, making these murals 'alive'.

Arturo was amazing! As part of the tour we tried memelas, tacos, cacao, ice cream, chapulines, and more!! Highly recommend- it was delicious and informative. Come hungry :p

He was really nice, took us to very good food spots and showed us around the 'Barrio de Jalatlaco'. We had various food to taste, from hot chocolat, memela, ice cream to tacos and he told us a lot about the food culture here and as well everything else we asked him. We could highly recommend to take a tour with Arturo!

Arturo really was nice. And new the area very very well having a family close by. Great historical perspective about the holidays including dia de las muertos. Amazing details and good food and drink ideas. Loved him. Will hope to see him again

We had such a nice time exploring with Lupita and trying some delicious local foods. Despite it being an extremely busy time of the day to be running the tour, Lupita took our suggestions into account and make sure we all tried the things we wanted to. I’d highly recommend this tour.

Lupita was fantastic, we had a great time wandering around the food markets and street stalls, discussing the food, ingredients and rich culture. Lupita was very generous, sharing her knowledge and insights - this was a definite highlight of our Oaxaca experience - we would highly recommend this tour, thank you Lupita!

We loved this tour. Arturo really knows the neighbourhood as he grew up there. We visited places and tried local food that we would never have found on our own. Would 100% recommend!

An absolute must do in Oaxaca! Arturo was very knowledgeable, not just on food, but the history of Oaxaca and Mexico more generally. I am vegetarian and Arturo was able to help me identify veggie options and make any adjustments which I was apprehensive about prior to booking the tour. Would thoroughly recommend!

My boyfriend and I booked this tour on a whim and it was totally worth it! We were the only ones who booked and essentially got a private tour. Arturo is so knowledgeable and knows the area well, showed us some amazing food spots, and make great recommendations for the rest of our trip. Plan to spend between 200-300 pesos per person - most places were very well priced and delicious. Definitely recommend!!

Arturo was the sweetest guide, so attentive. Not only waited for me, but helped me carry things if needed and really took care of me the whole tour. It felt like hanging out with a friend who knows a lot! Although this tour was led by food stops, he genuinely included interesting information and history in all aspects of the walk - street names, art, symbols. I highly recommend Arturo's tour!

He was incredibly attentive, shared so many interesting facts and stories about Oaxaca, and helped me understand the culture on a much deeper level while trying absolutely delicious food along the way.
