Tour description

Hi, I'm Peter Tolle, a licensed male tour guide living in Mombasa, Kenya. I began my travels as a freelancer after working with travel companies on historical, geological, and marine tours. I now offer free tours in Mombasa where we visit incredible locations. My tours begin at For't Jesus, a historic Portuguese fortress, after which we pass Kenya's oldest Supreme Court and the central business district, then enter the Old Town with its bustling Arab, Portuguese, Indian, and African influences in the art. The cuisine and intricacies of period stonework are well represented in its doorways and balconies. The old port and post office, the Governor's House, then the oldest slave market and the anti-slavery house, Leven House. A visit to the spice cafe and textile market takes us to the Indian temple, the bat gardens, and then we finish at the Elephant Tusks (the symbol of Mombasa). I offer these tours in English and French. Ladies and gentlemen, with all due respect, I invite you to visit my tours to explore in depth the epicenter of the history of the cities of Mombasa and Kenya as a whole. Welcome.
