Tour description

Enter the fascinating world of Santeria and Mexican spirituality. After meeting at the Cibeles fountain in the Roma Norte neighborhood, we will visit Tlatelolco, the only place with archaeological wealth within Mexico City and at the same time a place that has witnessed different events that have given this place an energy of spiritual transformation for centuries.

We will then head to the famous and controversial Sonora market, or as it is known by the inhabitants of Mexico City as the "WITCHES' MARKET", where we will explore religious syncretism, magical traditions and Mexican spirituality.

and we will culminate with a visit to the altar of Saint Death, a sacred figure in Mexican spirituality that represents death as an impartial force that does not discriminate by class, religion or gender.

1. Meeting point: Cibeles Fountain in front of the Santander bank 10:00 am

2: Tlatelcolco. Visit to the Plaza of the Three Cultures, historical context and its impact on Mexican spirituality. Religious syncretism and its relationship to Santeria.

3: Sonora Market; guided tour of the esoteric area of the market, interaction with local vendors, spiritual cleansing (optional, additional cost)

4: Visit to the altar of the holy death
