He had excellent historical subject knowledge and superb communication skills; he gave us fascinating insight into modern Greek culture and economics, as well as some excellent recommendations for places to eat and drink.

We had a great tour with Walter who guided us through Athens and the thousands of years of Greek history. As he is an archeologist himself and has wealth of knowledge, which coupled with his friendly personality makes him a great guide! He is an American who has lived in Athens for over 15 years, which means he speaks very clearly and has a good perspective on life in Greece. We learned more from this tour than from several museums put together. Highly recommended!

The tour covered all we wanted to see and more and all carried out in a fun style which all the group enjoyed. I do walking tours whichever cities I visit and this was one of the best. Eine sehr gute Führung durch Walter unseren Guide. Er hat mit sehr viel Hintergrundwissen, amüsant über die Geschichte der Stadt und Griechenland erzählt und mit alltäglichen Information über das aktuelle Griechenland die Führung sehr kurzweilig gestaltet. Absolut empfehlenswert!
