Walter was a terrific guide. He has a background in archaeology and brought it to life. Strong recommendation for him!

The tour lasted 3 hours but I could have easily kept going for another 3 hours! So many locations, excellent guide, interesting info... the only thing was that the group was quite large (30 people) and therefore a bit slow but the guide managed that super well.

Stavros is knowledgeable, witty and charismatic. I feel like he has several versions of this tour and he probably could have kept the group engaged for the 24 hour tour he joked about (because Athens has a long history!). Certainly there’s no need to stop or wait for questions Stavros, just keep going - your ever so slightly dramatic way of presenting history’s facts and figures in mini tales was one of the best Guru Walks I have had the pleasure of joining.

I was lucky enough to have Stavros as a guide. He’s humorous and knows a lot about the city. It was really interesting and I’d totally recommend it

Amazing tour with Stavros

One of the best guru tour that we have and we where in plenty.

Walter was a great tour guide! He showed us all the main attractions, provided great information, and was very entertaining. Plus his expertise and experience as an archaeologist/geologist brought a super interesting perspective to a place like Athens. His recommendations for food are 10/10!

Stavros was quite funny and very relaxed. Talked to everyone on the tour and was very patient. All around great guide.

We hebben een prachtige wandeling gemaakt. Met een gids als Walter ga je écht anders, en beter kijken dan wanneer je alleen door Athene zou gaan lopen. We vonden Walter zeer deskundig, een goede verteller die je aandacht vasthoud. Duidelijk sprekend en goed verstaanbaar midden in een drukke stad. TOP!

This was an excellent walk and we could not have asked for a better guide - Stavros was pleasant, informative, entertaining and delivered his dialogue with humour and passion, although labelled as a history tour it was a good introduction to Athens at the startod our break and we would definitely recommend, please pass on our sincere thanks to Stavros.

Stravos was a great guide. Very energetic during the entire tour, share a lot of historic information, fun facts and local insights. He was always looking for shades to avoid the sun. I'd definitely take a tour with stravos again

This was a wonderful walking tour of the city of Athens, and we couldn't have asked for a better guide than Stavros! He was passionate about the history of the city, and really encouraged us to ask questions and interact. We didn't really follow the route that had been outlined in the itinerary, but Stavros took us to so many interesting spots and shared so much information about the city. It was one of the favorite things we did in Athens!
