This tour had way too many people to be enjoyable. Walter (the guide) was great, it’s not a comment on him or his knowledge (very well informed) but honestly I would not have signed up if I knew 30+ people would be attending. You couldn’t hear the guide all the time, Athens isn’t designed for impromptu stops of groups this large on their narrow sidewalks

Alexia was a great guide, she knows a lot about the city and about Greece in general. She is very easy to talk to and answers all your questions. She's super nice and shares loads of tips to enjoy the city or the rest of greece after the tour.

We had the pleasure of touring Athens with Stavros as our guide, and he was truly exceptional. Despite the intense summer heat, Stavros patiently took us through a wide range of incredible sites, to name a few, our tour including the Greek Agora, Roman Agora, Temple of Hephaestus (Hercules Temple), the modern Olympic museum, among others totaling 3 hours. He thoughtfully built in breaks to keep the group comfortable and energized. Stavros was funny, engaging, and full of great stories. He had a great rapport with kids. Despite my son asked endless questions, Stavros answered them with genuine enthusiasm and smile. Overall, it was a memorable tour with an amazing tour guy who brought ancient Athens to life. Highly recommended!

I very much enjoyed this historical tour, our guide Stavroz was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic & personal even though the heat was quite extreme :) I have learned a lot from this tour so I would recommend for sure!

Very good! I only had one day in Athens and chose to book this tour. I think choosing William made the whole experience way better as he’s very knowledgeable and also charismatic. Me and my partner had a great time visiting different monuments, learning more about the history and receiving additional tips on what to do/go/eat in the city. I definitely recommend booking the tour with him! You’ll have a friend in Athens!

Alexia knows how to tell a story and she always brought a funny twist to it. She is really friendly and wants to get to know the people. Because of that it was really easy to talk to the other members of the group. Alexia really knows a lot and can answer any questions. If you want to know about a special topic she can adjust the tour according to your interests.

amazing tour

It was an amazing tour from a true Greek connoisseur. Not only was our guide Greek-American, having lived and worked in Athens for more than 20 years. He was also an archaeologist focusing his studies on the classics. The tour was an amazing blend of old and new. I would gladly take the tour again…thrice times over.
