Essential Free walking tours of Athens

Great tour that encompasses lots of areas and sights but without feeling rushed. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly, and tailored the tour to the interests of the group. We also got recommendations for food and drinks and were taught some basic Greek. Really loved the QR code with bar & restaurant recommendations too, this isn’t something I’ve had on a walking tour before.

We left walk due to weather conditions but what we got was enjoyable

Guide ( Italian/Greek young man studying for his PhD ) was absolutely brilliant. His knowledge of Greek history and the city of Athens was superb. The route was very interesting and he reminded us of the must _ sees in Athens !! The 10 minute break half way through was very welcome , as walking for nearly three hours can be intense. We would thoroughly recommend this tour. Mary , Ireland

Great tour. Really helps to see where the major attractions are and to learn a bit about the history when you first arrive.

William was an excellent guide to the city. He shared so much history with us in a very helpful way. He built a rapport with the group such that when he left us we were all sitting down to share a meal! Small really is beautiful on a tour as you all get to hear and see everything. A very lovely guy - highly recommended

Amazing tour!

One of the best tours i ever had. William took us to all of the important sites, and the small group allowed us to be more flexible. He's knowladge was extensive, but he kept everything very light and interasting. Fun facts, culture and history. If you're gonna take one tour in Athens- take this one!

Elena is very knowledgeable. I got to see some key areas of the city and learnt a lot along the way.

Sorry that I forgot his name, but our guide was from Melbourne (but all grandparents were from here), and he was excellent, always interacting with everyone and giving insightful tips, and bringing a lot of context to what we were seeing. Really good food and drinks recs also, all in all, an excellent tour

Our 'Become Greek on foot' tour was ace! Our guide was amazing and I feel the tour gave a great overview of Athens. He had loads of interesting tidbits and answered and questions with ease. I would 100% recommend this tour for anyone visiting Athens! The bar and restaurant recommendations sent after were also very good!

Very nice young man lead us on a very nice tour through Athens. Hitting many highlights and some hidden gems. Especially liked going through the old neighborhood just below the Acropolis.
