Free Walking Tours through Old Athens

We had a very pleasant 3 hour tour with Elena, she is very knowledgeable and able to answer the most various questions. The yogurt break was a nice touch :)

Elena is very fun and a happy person, but as well very knowledgeable person. She was telling us not only the traditional cultural stories, but also day to day curiosities and we could learn a lot about the ancient, modern and contemporary greek history. Would certainly recommend her tours!

I really wish we had done this tour earlier in our trip! So informative and the guide was very entertaining! We love to take these tours because if done right they give so many insights into the city and the culture, hints about how to navigate the city and cultural sites, etc, and Elena provided all of that. She also gave a great recommendation for a hike and a restaurant that was delicious. 10/10

Great introduction to Athens. Elena was very knowledgeable and personal. She added extras to the trip like samples of food and drink! We found 3 hours a little long since we just arrived in Athens the day of our tour but Elena spoke to the group and adjusted everything as the group wished. Definitely would recommend her tour.

Elena was able to show and talk not only about the historical places but about the Greek culture as well. That was really worth walking with Elena and I would definitely go with her again!

Elena was an amazing guide. We did have trouble at times hearing her die to noisy traffic. We saw a lot of the important sites all in 3 hours.

I object to the first question. The choices given were unhelpful. Was I "surprised" , well, no. Did I get more than expected? Not really. Those questions really put me off answering Guruwalk questionnaires. It's not "entertainment" or "surprises" I'm looking for in a guide; it's depth of Knowledge, Professionalism, Openness to questions, and, yes, route of the tour. This is not a popularity contest.

A good introduction to Athens' most famous sites and some good background stories. It is an enjoyable way to get to know the historical centre of Athens.
