Echo was easy to communicate with. I only had a layover at Beijing and she catered to my needs and made my short stay at Beijing memorable.

It was great to meet Roy. The tour was complete, and he shared very good information about the city and the history of China. Also we got tips for the remaining of our trip, which is so important to know from a local.

We had an amazing full-day tour of Beijing with Echo! We covered a massive amount of ground, and while it was definitely an exhausting trek, it was worth every single step. Echo expertly guided us through the Temple of Heaven, found a great local spot for lunch to help us refuel, and then navigated us through the vast history of Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. We capped off the day by hiking up Jingshan Park—right north of the palace—for a perfect panoramic view. Echo's deep knowledge and energy kept us engaged the entire time. Highly recommend her if you want a comprehensive, boots-on-the-ground exploration of Beijing's best!

Roy Li is a great guide who knows a lot about the hutongs and their history. he gives a lot of interesting yet also surprising information, sometimes even some fun facts. i really enjoyed my tour

Amazing tour! Perfect for your first day in Beijing. Our guide made history and local daily life super engaging with great stories and fun activities in hutong. We played traditional local games, tried calligraph, learned about local handicrafts, and had a yummy little snack stop. So much fun packed into just 3.5 hours! Best tour I've ever been on. I've gone on free walking tours all over the world, and Roy has been the best. Because I'm also Chinese-American, he explained the Chinese words to me as well. We saw all the big sights and sounds, and he explained to me much of the history of Beijing, as well as places to go and things to eat later. Great tour, would highly recommend to anyone. His English is perfect.

April is a kind and knowledgeable guide, with a mature approach to the walking tour. She was able and willing to answer our questions as we walked the route, many of which focused on the modern-day life to people in Beijing. We visited the ghost market, viewed a pocket garden, a mosque and a Buddhist temple. These were interesting, but the 'Revolutionary Past' I had expected (since WW2, say) was not really covered as such, although we did talk about the early 1900s.

Roy is a really entertaining guide, and uses humour and a soft questioning technique to keep his walkers interested and engaged. We walked through many hutong streets, and he maintained a great rapport, telling us about the food we passed, and the buildings/amenities that were unfamiliar to us eg the water-filling stations outside some of the hutongs, celebrity ownership. He was happy and able to answer all of our questions. He made recommendations of restaurants, and shopping locations, and ended at the Drum and Bell Temples in time for the 1pm drumming. If I were to visit Beijing again, I would definitely try to catch up with him again. Highly recommended!

A fascinating, interesting & well paced walk through the Imperial City of Beijing. Roy spoke very good English & touched on many aspects on Beijing & Chinese history & culture.
