Roy is a very entertaining, thoughtful and knowledgeable guide. He has spent some time living in the hutongs, so he is a very authentic source on their history and significance. His recommendations on where to go for good and shopping were spot on as well.

I had an amazing time exploring hutongs and hidden gems of the Imperial City with Roy! He took us to places that I would otherwise not find by myself, and he provided high quality information both on old and new China, always in a very entertaining way. I've also followed his lunch recommendations and was super satisfied. Additionally, he has helped me out with some practical issues, such as getting a sim card. I have already recommend this tour to some friends who will be visiting Beijing shortly, and I'll definitely join more tours with Roy myself when I go to Beijing next time! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great guide. You do not see only house andxsteets of old Beijing. You can fill real life of Bejing. Excellent english given by very smart guy who once lived in thix hutongs. Obviously his quality lead him to become guide. Recommendable by any doubts.
