Free walking tours in Beijing

Han was a wonderful guide. I appreciated how she weaved the history of Beijing with the history of its food, The matcha tea ice cream, hawthorn pastry and the visit to the wet market were the highlights. I also received recommendations of where to eat on my own!

This is the most fun free tour I’ve ever done! Beijing has so much history, and the guide made it easy to follow and really enjoyable without feeling overwhelming. The tour is super well designed—nice balance of walking, talking, storytelling, calligraphy workshop, some fun games and quizzes, and great street food. The 3.5 hours truly flew by! Honestly I didn’t expect to learn this much while having SO much fun in one single tour. Would definitely recommend!

Roy was knowledgable and entertaining throughout the tour as we wandered through Beijing’s Hutongs. Definitely the best tour guide of my trip to China!

Roy offered us a great glimpse into the life in the Hutongs back in the days but also nowadays. He combined historical facts with useful tips for our stay in Beijing. The dumpling restaurant he recommends at the end is very worth a visit. Don‘t miss to join the tour.
