This tour was incredibly informative!!!!! Connecting the grand history of royal traditions with the realities of modern local life, it was the perfect way to spend my first day in Beijing. Miriam’s pace was spot on, and she was such a warm and friendly host who made everything easy to understand. Highly recommended!!!!!!

Miriam was waiting for us with the tickets, she explained everything in perfect English, She was enthusiastic and answered all our questions. She bought a game for us to try , and she gave us a small gift .She was wonderful.

One of the best free walking tours I have done! Beijing has so much to offer and this tour perfectly covers an introduction to everything, with great stories and insights into local life. We walked through a very peaceful hutong neighborhood, played local games, tried delicious Chinese pancakes, and wrote our calligraphy artwork (loved it!!). You can genuinely tell this company (Free Tours China) is trying their best to design a nice itinerary and deliver a great experience with warm hospitality. Well-spent 3 hours, perfect duration and content. Highly recommended to everyone!

So immersive experience in Pekín cultural heritage

We took this free Beijing tour on our first day in Beijing, and it was simply amazing! She took us to some authentic local spots in the hutongs that I would never have found as a tourist. A surprising highlight was the calligraphy workshop — we got to not only watch demonstrations but also write our own Chinese characters. It was so fun and special! We also tried some delicious local food and received some incredibly useful food and sightseeing recommendations. If you’re visiting Beijing, trust me, you cannot miss this tour!

Loved this Beijing free city walk! Our guide Yan is friendly, knowledgeable and clearly loves sharing local stories. We skipped busy tourist spots and wandered quiet residential lanes. The local food we sampled was really delicious. We even got a nice little surprise showing traditional Chinese culture. A relaxed, authentic way to experience Beijing off the typical travel path…

I’d really like to recommend Echo for her tour. She shows you parts of Shanghai near the Forbidden City that nobody else takes you to, and they’re absolutely beautiful! The bike tour is also really convenient and useful because you get to see so many things that would otherwise take far too long to reach on foot. Echo is also very friendly. Highly recommended!

Roy did a great job. Didn't cancel even when my family was the only one on tour. Still took us around, told us really interesting things and had interesting conversations with us. Really happy we decided on this tour.

El tour és una molt bona manera de visitar parts de la ciutat no tan conegudes, el final amb les vistes és espectacular i la ruta amb bicis molt divertida.

Roy was an excellent guide and its English was perfect! He gave us a lot of information to better understand the places visited but also other ones around the city. He also suggested us other places to visit or where to go to eat local food
