We had an amazing time with Janet. She took us to some historical places in Guangzhou and some more modern/trendy places so we could get both a tourist/local perspective on the city. We even got to ride a bike and do a bit of sightseeing which was very cool. I would strongly recommend it to anyone visiting Guangzhou!

However, what really stood out was Lin's dedication. Even though the official tour time ended, she stayed longer with us to make sure we saw everything and answered all our questions. One of the better walking tours that I have done as a solo traveller. It was a good introduction to Guangzhou and as I was the only one there, it felt more personalised and just like a casual hang out with a friend. Janet was very friendly and knowledgeable and showed great flexibility, tailoring the tour to accommodate me. I enjoyed the amount of exploring that we did and the addition of going to hidden areas that weren't listed in the original tour. She even joined me for lunch with a recommendation she had in the Beijing Road Area. Overall, this tour was a fantastic way to ease into the rhythm of Guangzhou, and I would highly recommend it to other travellers — especially those looking for a flexible, insightful, and welcoming introduction to the city.

Even on an extremely hot day, our city tour of Guangzhou turned into an absolute highlight—thanks to our well-prepared and attentive guide, Lin! Right from the start, she equipped us with handheld fans, which made the heat much more bearable and set a positive tone for the tour. The itinerary was exciting and varied: Lin brought the city’s history to life so vividly that it felt like stepping back in time. The stops for rejuvenation tea and the childhood home of Bruce Lee’s father were especially memorable—a real treat for Kung Fu fans! I was traveling with my 6-year-old son, and Lin handled it perfectly: She engaged him with kid-friendly explanations and kept the pace just right so he never felt overwhelmed. This tour is definitely suitable for little explorers too! Verdict: Highly recommended—a fantastic mix of culture, history, and local gems, expertly organized with a wonderful guide!

The tour with Janet was really nice. We walked around in the city and she explained the history of the city as well as the context of the construction of the different monuments. She showed us a really good dumpling place and we had lunch there it was really good. Then we continued the visit in the other parts of the city and even rented bike. This was an amazing day.
