The tour with Lin was fantastic. It lasted 4h and she showed us some very interesting and beautiful places I wouldn't have known about just by searching on the Internet. She explains things very well, combining notions on history, architecture, folk arts, popular culture and contemporary society. I highly recommend you to discover a bit of the vast culture of Guangzhou in this way.

This tour is great if you enjoy walking. It took our group just over four hours and 8 kilometres to finish the tour. But it was well worth it. Lin's English is very good and she is very knowledgeable.

Lin was such an asking guide! She spoke English well and made some funny jokes to keep us entertained during the tour. Lin was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of insights with us during the tour. She even took us to places that you may not notice without a local!

As he put it: “No robotic scripts prepared, only my passionate understanding for every building and brick.” He delivered exactly that — heartfelt storytelling as we wandered from quiet alleys to lively boulevards, uncovering layers of history, culture, and the city’s future. Brian had many insights on cultural social and political aspects of the region and answered all our questions with enthusiasm !

For me, I like the last part of the tour. We visited a market, many schools, churches, and so many places that I have never thought I would have been to. It is just fantastic.

The best tour

Brian is excellent. We visited churches and temples, tried local Cantonese dessert, and saw the fusion style building. What’s more, Brian’s understanding of the city was just stunning. Highly recommend!
