Lin is a fantastic guide who speaks strong English, no problems in communication. I was very tired this day after poor sleep but she kept it extremely engaging and is clearly someone passionate about information and history, as she has done a lot of her own deeper research about everything we pass. Li was a terrific tour guide. I was a bit late to the meeting point due to bad traffic but she was very accommodating to wait for a bit. As for the tour itself, Li is very knowledge about Cantonese culture and history, in particular about Cantonese opera which I had knew nothing about. Highlight of the tour: this random small tub of yogurt that you drink out of a straw. I regret not taking a photo of it, wouldn't mind trying it again whilst in GZ

Our guide Li was super! We arrived a little late because of the traffic and she was really nice and patient about it. As we were just two on the tour, we had a really personal tour where she shared stories of her own experiences, we were able to stop for a little bit of breakfast and get to know the little nuances of the tour route. She was very personable and professional. Really fantastic! Thank you Li for the wonderful morning!

I had a great time with Lin. You cover a lot of ground with Lin, and you get to see different parts of Guangzhou, including visiting a temple. Overall, a nice way to see the city.

I enjoyed my time with Li. You go for a walk in the park, and through some small alleys, while learning a bit about the local history and opera. Overall, it's a good way to get a glimpse of Guangzhou.

Sehr zu empfehlen! LIN ist sehr professionell und hat viel Wissen mitzuteilen. Zieh bequeme Schuhe an, dann macht es Spaß die 8 km mit ihr zurück zu legen. Sie zeigt in kurzer Zeit sehr viel verschiedene Sehenswürdigkeiten.

Lin was very enthusiastic and professional. We all received an ear piece so we could hear her load an clearly. She gave us information before and after the tour. I really like the tour. It was a perfect duration - 4 hours and 8 kilometers.

Another awesome citywalk with Li Chen from Guruwalk! We explored the heart of old Guangzhou — from peaceful Lychee Bay and Cantonese opera traditions to lively Xiguan streets full of snacks and stories. Even stumbled upon a bookstore where backpackers can sleep among the books! Thanks, Li Chen, for another fun and eye-opening walk through local life. Highly recommended if you want to see the real side of the city!

An experienced guru

Lin was a great tour guide. We covered so much ground on this tour, especially since we were a smaller group and weren't tired. Lin tailored the route and speed to the group. She provided a lot of information and it's clear she's very knowledgeable, even doing a lot of her own research to be able to provide a great informative tour. We even stopped for snacks and she provided great recommendations for food. All in all, a great way to explore Guangzhou for the first time!
