Free Walking Tours at Cusco

Unfortunately our designed guide was ill the day of the tour. However the agency provided a new one which made our tour great!

The walk was challenging because of the climbing up the steep streets but this is inevitable in Cuzco The guide was considerate in stopping to talk in some of the steepest parts to give us time to recover.

The Cusco walking tour with Joshua was a great. He was very friendly and provided a lot of good history about the city and great recommendations as well. I would highly recommend the tour!

We took the tour in Cusco with our guide, Waldo, and it was an incredible experience. Waldo was very kind, funny, and explained the entire history of Spain to us in a very clear and engaging way. We learned much more about Cusco than we imagined, including historical facts, interesting facts, and great anecdotes. The tour was very dynamic, interesting, and entertaining. We definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to get to know Cusco in a special and profound way. Thank you for this unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this company.

We had an awesome time with Wilson. Even tough we were the only two people he still went on a (private) tour with us. He provided good informations about the city and its history and showed us the most important places you have to visit in the center of cusco. All in all we can absolutely recommend going on a tour with Wilson!

Fernando is a great guide! I was traveling solo and the only one on the tour and he curated the tour just for my interests. I learned a lot about the beautiful city center, Inka walls, and Cusco’s history. We also ate some delicious food. My favorite were the ceviche and buñuelos. We visited a chocolate shop where I got to see chocolate being made and an alpaca store where a woman was weaving, with extra historical context from Fernando. Near the end of the tour, we also got to see a beautiful view of the city and drink muña tea. Strongly recommend. I liked the first tour so much we went on a second more “local” tour of Cusco so I could see what life was like for an everyday Peruvian living Cusco. I really appreciated the chance to see the city for more than just the touristic centers. Thank you for a great tour!

Great tour with Joshua on Sunday. He really took the time to get the know the whole group individually and give us personalised recommendations for things to do/see. He also made the tour incredibly entertaining and really brought the history of Cusco to life. His recommendations for food etc. were also worth while. Definitely would recommend.

Erick was amazing!! What a spectacular tour, we really have a better understanding of the city and the Inka culture! He took us to so many significant cultural spots and places to get good and cheap souvenirs. Erick was so kind and patient woth all of our questions and he has so much knowledge on different subjects. We were very grateful.

Nice walk with a lot of usefull information

An absolutely fabulous tour led by a guide who was considerate, knowledgeable, intelligent and had a great sense of humour. He took us to places we would have missed. An absolute must to get to know where to go in Cusco and what you are looking at!

J is a very good guide. However, we chose the tour based on the description & stops outlined on the Guruwalk website. J’s tour was completely different. If each member of the blue team creates their own walk and itinerary, it would be helpful to mention that in the description. The tour was good but it wasn’t what we had signed up for and hoped & expected to see.

A fantastic walking tour with a very interesting guide. Ricahard spent a short time at the beginning of the tour learning about the group's interests and tailored the information and answered questions to each individual's needs. This tour offers an excellent overview and understanding of the city and a blend of science, music, and ancient Inca history. A true highlight of Cusco.

We had a wonderful time learning so much about Cuzco. Fernando was super knowledgeable and grounded in Inca history and culture. He was really thoughtful to take our interests into consideration throughout the tour. We enjoyed each and every anecdote, bite, and felt we were in good hands.
