Cusco Food Tour

Great tour with the opportunity to try local products! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and made some accommodations of the local products so that we would be able to try them even though we are gluten-free. Highly recommend this tour!

I had an amazing afternoon with Fernando. A really nice and chill guy with a lot of information on Inka history and culture and knowledge of a lot of good places to go and explore and to eat. I expected to be shown some nice places in the city and got exactly that. But then also a lot of different facts about the Inkas which I really enjoyed. At times I found it a bit difficult to switch from facts about inkas to chocolate museum to textile work, but Fernando gave so many good tips and small bits of information, I will use the rest of my days here to explore. He speaks a very understandable English. And as a cherry on top we did some different tastings of very delicious food and drinks. I can’t recommend this man enough ✌️

We had a great and unique time being shown around some of the lesser known spots in Cusco by Fernando. The drink and food we got to sample during the tour was super and we made the most of Fernando's recommendations during the remainder of our time in Cusco. While we didn’t visit any Inca or historical sites during the tour (owing to the time of day) Fernando was full of interesting facts about the history of Cusco and the Incas.

Fernando was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of great information about the City, its people and culture. We enjoyed stopping by several restaurants for food tasting. He also accommodated my friend's diet restriction as it was a small group on the day.

This was one of the best guruwalk tours we have ever been on - and we have done at least 40 by now. Fernando makes the whole tour so interesting, takes you to many different places, so you get a but of history, a bit of Andean culture, some great food and drinks, and lots of other surprises. We got a little mixed up with the meeting place but Fernando came back for us. He shared his knowledge and passion of Cusco history, buildings and food. We enjoyed tasting chocolate, Pisco, Chicha morada, and some appetizers too. He took us to a few different neighbourhoods and down some interesting streets. This was a terrific experience.

Very knowledgable about Cuzco and this excursion was packed with many delicious tastings. The last stop had amazing views.

I recently had the pleasure of joining a historical and culinary tasting tour of Cusco, Peru, guided by the amazing Fernando. From start to finish, the tour was an incredible journey through the rich history and vibrant culinary scene of this beautiful city. Fernando was exceptionally knowledgeable about the historical landmarks we visited. He brought the ancient ruins and colonial architecture to life with fascinating stories and insights. It was evident that he was passionate about Cusco’s history, and his enthusiasm was infectious. The food stops were a delightful addition to the tour. We sampled a variety of traditional Peruvian dishes, from chocolate made in Peru, a pisco sour with the most incredible view, and an organic restaurant that served lemonade and bread/cheese appetizer. The tour was well-organized and paced perfectly. We never felt rushed, yet we managed to cover a lot of ground. Fernando was attentive and ensured that everyone was comfortable and engaged throughout the tour. Thank you, Fernando!

This tour exceeded my expectations! Fernando was a great host and very knowledgeable and informative and patient with questions and enthusiastic about the history and culture of Cusco. The cherry on top of everything was being able to sample different local foods like chocolate, chicha, a pisco sour, and a Peruvian appetizer and lemonade. In my opinion it was a grand experience getting to learn history and sample local foods.
