Cusco Food Tour

Fernando was super knowledgeable and showed us good spots around the city! We even got to eat a sandwich, try a bunch of different chocolate, and try a passion fruit pisco sour!

This was an incredibly good walking tour! We learned a lot about both history and culture and got to visit several interesting places that we would not have found on our own. I can truly recommend this tour!

Do not hesitate to take this tour with Fernando. I’ve taken many guided tours (through Guru and other providers) and this was by far one of the best tours I’ve ever taken. His knowledge of the history of the city (and all of Peru) combined with his interest in providing a truly local experience makes this a unique and VERY worthwhile tour. Very nice combination of cultural and historical tour of Cusco and tasting of several local foods an beverages. Fernando was a real nice guide and knew so much about the history of cusco and Incan culture. We visited over 20 mplace of interest, shops restaurants and bars. All of the tastings were completely free and we never felt pressured into spending money at the local shops, restaurants and bars we visited. We even got a free little souvenir from a shop allong the way. Highly reccomend!

Fernando is a great guide! I was traveling solo and the only one on the tour and he curated the tour just for my interests. I learned a lot about the beautiful city center, Inka walls, and Cusco’s history. We also ate some delicious food. My favorite were the ceviche and buñuelos. We visited a chocolate shop where I got to see chocolate being made and an alpaca store where a woman was weaving, with extra historical context from Fernando. Near the end of the tour, we also got to see a beautiful view of the city and drink muña tea. Strongly recommend. I liked the first tour so much we went on a second more “local” tour of Cusco so I could see what life was like for an everyday Peruvian living Cusco. I really appreciated the chance to see the city for more than just the touristic centers. Thank you for a great tour!

Terrific walk! The other guests didn’t show, so Fernando gave me a private tour. It was a great combination of history and fun stories, delivered during a healthy walk with several stops for snacks along the way. I’m really happy he had an opening on just one day’s notice

Great tour with the opportunity to try local products! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and made some accommodations of the local products so that we would be able to try them even though we are gluten-free. Highly recommend this tour!
