Andrei was very passionate and educated when sharing facts about the city. Its the passion that was the best bit, you could see he was genuinely very excited to share the stories, facts and history. It's very contagious! Not only that, but I went to the wrong place for the first stop, to not disturb the other peoples tour, he had me join after a few stops, and then redid the bits I missed with just me at the end. I wish I had been able to give more money for his time!

Timo was incredibly good lectured and informed about the resistance history of Dijon. This is definitely not a normal walking tour. The purpose is not the popular landmarks, but to visit and learn about the historical places that the multiple resistance group had.

Die Tour war super! Wir waren nur 2 Leute und trotzdem hat sich Timo sehr viel Zeit genommen und ist individuell auf unsere Fragen eingegangen. Timo weiss sehr viel und illustriert die einzelnen Stops und Erzählungen mit eigen zusammengestellten Bildern, Karten und Kontext. Er hat klar hervorgehoben, wenn er seine Meinung und Einschätzung mitgeteilt hat oder etwas geschichtlich nicht ausreichend belegt ist. Man hat seine Passion gespürt und er ist auf individuelle Fragen sehr gut eingegangen.

We had a very interesting and engaging experience on this tour in Dijon. The introductory overview was especially helpful for those of us who weren’t fully familiar with the different stages of the war and the development of the French Resistance. The personal stories were the most moving part. Timo shared them with great care and empathy, which made them truly impactful and memorable. This is a very detailed and specialized tour, and we really appreciated Timo’s generosity and depth of knowledge. Highly recommended!
