Hello dear travelers my name is Jhoselyne, I born in San Salvador now I recently graduate from the University and become a professional tour guide in my city where I have been my entire life, and I want to show in a funny and interesting way my country to you!.
Josue was a fantastic tour guide! He had a well planned route that was the perfect amount of time (approximately 2 hours). It was very interesting to learn about the history of San Salvador from the indigenous people to the civil war to recent gang activity to the new President. Josue did a great job explaining how much safer the country has become in a short amount of time.The highlight of the tour was (surprisingly) the library where kids and adult were excited to spend time learning in this modern building. I’d recommend this to anyone visiting the city for the first time! Josue also gave me a restaurant recommendation try iguana meat - I can’t wait to try it!
We had a great tour with Josue! It lasts about 2 hours. We learned a lot about the past and present of the country and the city. We were able to ask many questions at any time, which Josue always answered very well. Very friendly and highly recommended!
