Hi, my name is Tati Biermas and I am living in Cozumel since 2005. Originally from Germany I enjoy the authentic Mexican culture, the food, the friendly people and the Cozumel island life with its beautiful weather....and sharing it with you!
We had an excellent time touring the wonderful San Miguel downtown area. Tati was so passionate about showing us the street and market which you wouldn't have seen on a larger group. The 1.5 hours tour was very easy and covered lots of interesting areas of the town. If you have been to the island many times but not to the downtown area, this is the best way to explore. Tati is a wondering guide and she recommended us a very good taco spot for lunch. Excellent tour guide.

I use guru walks in many cities I visit. It is a great way to become introduced to a new city. The guides have always been very informative. Tati was our guide in Cozumel. There was less history explained and more of the current flavor of the city introduced with great recommendations for places to go. We took Tati’s recommendations and were pleasantly surprised. Take the tours. They are usually free but require a tip to the guide.
