We are a cultural managers and touristic guides. We grew up in San Salvador and we are the first local tour operator in the Historic Center, we love art, folklore, pubs and coffee shops.
Because of the hour the tour lacked the ability to visit working markets & churches. The "gastro" portion of the tour was non existent. We should have visited the unbelievable library, open 24 hours. Less time at a bar! He never inquired as to our desires. My brining a "real camera" should have been a clue as to as least some of our needs.
Erick is a very chill tour guide who was very accommodating. We were like an hour late and he kept in contact letting us know where we could meet him. He also took us to bars, which was fun and gave us time to chill and get to know each other. All in all, it was a great tour--I of course can't speak for the beginning of the tour, but I imagine that's where he covered more history. There were a couple guys on the tour that kept coming back for a couple years and did tours with him specifically time and again. That should speak to his tour skills!
He was an awesome guide - highly recommend to do the tour with him.
