We had an amazing tour with Rob Carlos. He had lots of interesting information. We received good local food showing and eating, with the cultural contexts well spoken throughout the tour. Highly recommended!

We loved the experience. The food was very delicious. But it is not only a food tour you get a lor of information about the people and tradition/history behind the food. We also very much liked that the tour was all around supporting the hard working women that cook and sell the delicious food with lots of love and passion.

Super Guide hat echt Spaß gemacht die lokalen Gerichte zu probieren, an manchen Stellen gewesen, wo ich alleine nicht hingegangen wäre. Kann es also nur empfehlen, wenn du mal außerhalb von Restaurants mal was probieren möchtest und dich was traust.

Tuvimos la suerte de ir con Rocío, quién inició Alpaca Steps. Fue una experiencia muuuy interesante y emotiva, ya que fue muy claro que la selección de cada comida que probamos se hizo con mucho cuidado y amor. No sólo nos hizo probar street food boliviana única; nos contó las historias de los seres humanos (principalmente mujeres indígenas ) detrás de esos pequeños negocios. Con cada historia pudimos entender un poquito más de las dinámicas culturales, políticas y sociales de Bolivia y eso hizo que el tour superara por completo las expectativas que tuvimos. Amamos el tour!

Ramiro was an excellent guide, really knowledgeable and spoke amazing English which was super helpful! We had a fabulous tour and were lucky with our group as well. The food was amazing, and places we visited you wouldn’t know to stop yourself, some real hidden gems!

Had a private tour. Visited some great food places. Be prepared to eat a lot! The tour also visits some cultural places.

That was good fun! Only the juice place could have had a bit more choices of fruit.

This tour was such a fun way to dive into Bolivian food! We got to try a great mix of local dishes and learned the stories behind some of them, which made it even more special. Our guide Ramiro was awesome - super friendly and knew all the best street food spots. We had a great tour with Daniel. He showed us several places with delicious local food in La Paz & El Alto like Salteñas, Relleno and fruit juices. Definitely recommend!

Ramiro introduced us to the street foods of La Paz and informed us of the history and culture behind some of these foods. This tour is a good way to get to the heart of what local pasenos eat.
