a bit too casual. More historical information shared at each point. Need to wait for quiet or gather group in quiet spot and then talk. Even if a “free-will” tour and a bit up beat he could still have come in clean clothes and rested. If he is not there ten minutes before your time like you ask us to be - someone should call him so he is not late. Time is not added on to the tour- everything is just rushed.

Artur was very knowledgeable. He provided interesting historical facts as well as current information about what’s happening in Lagos. He wanted to be sure that we had a great experience while in the Algarve & invited us to email him with any questions, throughout our stay. Excellent guide with great knowledge and passion

Artur was very knowledgeable. He was a Lagos native and knew so much history of the city. After the tour, he sent us great suggestions and map of places to eat and things to explore. Although Lagos was the very place where the African slave trade was started, there was no mention of that time or fact or to any of the locations where it happened. As miserable and sad as it is, it would have been interesting to hear and understand why and how it originated in Lagos. Other than that omission, the historical content seemed accurate and interesting.

Excellent tour. Despite having been to Lagos several times before, we learned a lot from Artur about the town’s history, churches, houses, shops etc, along with Artur’s personal experience growing up in the town. Tour was over two hours long, and explored areas of town we had not visited before. He also sent follow up information with history and suggestions. Highly recommended.

Great tour to get to see Lagos old town and learn about the culture and history. Artur was very informative and fun to have as our guide.

Brodie was excellent and gave us much information on the local history and places to eat and dishes to try for the local culinary flavors. He offers other tours as well and we are hoping that we can fit one in while here.

Great overview of Lagos. Wish we had done it earlier in our stay and not on a Monday! Most things closed.

We have done these types of tours in other cities so had a good idea what to expect. Artur brings tremendous local knowledge and points out things that would otherwise go unnoticed if you just wandered around old town on your own. We learned of the history of Lagos elements which were a surprise to us so that in and of itself made for a very informative morning. But as Artur says, bring your best walking shoes because old town is hilly.

Artur ist super nett, offen und kennt Lagos unglaublich gut – kein Wunder, denn er ist dort aufgewachsen und konnte uns viele persönliche Geschichten und spannende Hintergründe zu den Orten erzählen. Besonders schön fand ich, dass er uns angeboten hat, uns später am selben Tag nochmal zu treffen, um uns den Bio-Markt zu zeigen. Das war überhaupt nicht selbstverständlich und total persönlich. Während der Tour gab es außerdem kleine liebevolle Mitbringsel wie einen traditionellen Zimt-Keks und eine getrocknete Feige – eine wirklich schöne Geste. Nach der Tour haben wir (auf Wunsch) sogar noch eine E-Mail von ihm bekommen mit vielen Empfehlungen für Lagos – egal ob historische Orte, touristische Highlights oder gute Restaurants – plus ein ausführliches PDF über die Stadt. Ich war rundum zufrieden und würde jederzeit wieder eine Tour bei Artur buchen. Absolute Empfehlung!
