Free walking tours in Silves

Thyl is so very knowledgeable of Silves and the history of the area. His presentation was interesting and fun. I took many pictures throughout the experience. We followed his recommendation and had a lovely meal at Sergredo dos Mouros. Excellent Portuguese tapas platter. Superb service from personable staff/owners. Thank you.

This was an absolutely brilliant walking tour, both myself and my partner thoroughly enjoyed it. Thyl was very informative, knowledgeable, friendly and funny. A great guide we learnt lots about Silves that we would not have done had we not done the walk, from secrets to legends to history all rolled into one. The walking tour is a must do! Our guide Thyl was absolutely the best and our favorite guide with Guru yet. Thyl was a wealth of information, kind, courteous, and provided great insights to Silves, its culture, history and more. He was more than accommodating when asked to stop for a coffee and wait out a storm Even better(for us), is that we had Thyl to ourselves as the early morning weather was not so great thus not as large a group Love Sivles
