Free Walking Tours in Madrid of Street Art and Graffiti

Tal’s tour was excellent! He’s very knowledgeable about the local artists and gave us a great view of Madrid’s street art scene. He’s also a nice person who had patience to take our questions and provide all information as we were going the through the tour. If you’re interested in street, I’d strongly encourage you to take the tour with Tal.

Tal was an excellent guide. His breath and depth of knowledge was superb. The pace of the tour was very good and his passionate interpretation of the individual depictions were favorably appreciated. Tal was a bit shy but very knowledgeable guide with love for graffiti & street art culture. We strolled through Lavapiés & La Latina neighborhoods, he showed us plenty of pieces and we discussed the messages behind certain artworks and social engagement of artists. It was less technical tour but more about street art & graffiti history in the city and current happenings on the scene, about creativity and passion of some of the artists, the messages that art carries, coexistence of communities and rebellion against the degradation of the quality of life. Unique and interesting tour, highly recommended!

Tal gave us a new appreciation of street art, especially the tagged art.

Although I expected and interessing time Tal‘s Tour through Urban Arts in Madrid totally outranked my expectations! We heard of the development of Urban Arts, different Art forms and very interesting interpretations on our way through all kind of Art Pieces! I will have a different view walking the Street of Madrid the next days! You can also ask any kind of questions, so Tal is kind of your restaurant and bars guide as well 😉 I would definitly recommend doing this Tour with Tal, it was more than worth my time!

The tour was fascinating. Tal knows the city and led us to special places and neighborhoods that we would not have reached without him. The art we saw was special and dynamic and Tal gave perspectives and interpretation that we had not thought of.

Tal is VERY pleasant. We had a lovely walk through lavapiés and la latina seeing murals, street art, and graffiti. I learned about Madrid’s interest in art and we stopped at the most wonderful little tea room along the way. A perfect way to spend an afternoon.

Tal is amazing. The tour was great, we got to know Tal and all the important street art pieces of Madrid. We loved the fact that Tal knew a lot about the pieces, the importance behind them and some of the meanings of the artworks! we truly recommend this tour :)

This tour was really nice! First of all, Tal didn't cancel tour even though nobody else besides me booked it. Second, he definitely knows what he talks about. He showed me graffiti around Madrid and explained the history and meaning of the pieces. Plus we also had nice talks about art, books, music. I can highly recommend this tour!

The guide is very knowledgeable and we saw great streetart - also in less touristy places, having a glimpse into the life of real locals. Highly recommend this tour!

I really enjoy the niche free walking tours. They are not crowded, one gets to know the other participants and discussions about the seen things are possible. Tal did a really great job in initiating discussions, he provided many local information about street art. All in all the tour route was well selected and it was nice to get a new perspective of Madrid!
