The tour was perfectly paced, and by the end I felt like I understood the heart of Madrid much better. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants more than just sightseeing — it’s a truly enriching experience that makes the city’s history come alive.

Great tour of Madrid. It was my first time visiting the city. Stuart was really knowledgeable and gave some cool and very interesting facts about Madrid. Stuart was engaging and has a great sense of humor. The tour was one of the highlights of my trip.

This was a great tour to get to know the area with some history built in. Maikel was entertaining. He’s bilingual so his English was excellent. It rained but it was ok. I do wish that we could’ve stopped at more places, but understand it might be hard to talk & walk because there was a lot of material to cover. We had to use the audio system- which worked great - however was not prepared for that and you had to pay €1/each. Not sure if I missed that in the literature. Best to have cash in hand both for headsets & tip. Overall, glad we did this tour and would recommend.

Unfortunately, there were only two people signed up. The Guru did notify me that the walk would need to be cancelled. She was gracious to offer other options, which I was unable to take advantage of because of the short time I have here in Madrid. I look forward to returning to Madrid to take the tour as I have done these in other cities and they are always amazing!

Edu was amazing! He wasn’t only a good guide but he was fun and entertaining as well. We enjoyed the tour and the info but even though historic facts could be much, with Edu we didn’t felt overwhelmed not even a bit.

Excellent guide, with a lot of interesting and well presented information. I recommend him for future groups.

Javier was excellent! He lots of history to share and a fun way to share and explain the history of Spain. We walked around the main center areas of town where showed us places to eat, not to eat, plus other tips to enjoy our visit to Madrid.
