Free walking tours in Granada, Nicaragua

Quique was outstanding in this tour. Took us to places that not every tourist visits while in Granada. He was very informative and friendly. I recommend Quique anytime.

Enrique is a really nice tourguide. We had a very interested tour and he explains a lot and also things of your interest. He knows a lot and is very enthousiastic.

Enrique is een super enthousiaste gids die heel veel over Nicaragua en Granada wist te vertellen. We vonden vooral zijn input over het politieke systeem interessant. Het bezoek aan het privé-huis vonden we minder bijzonder, maar de chocolade-proeverij vonden we wel erg leuk.

Great guide, incredibly knowledgeable, the time flew by. The tour was varied and a great way to get to know the history, find your bearings along with useful recommendations for food, drinks and experiences within the city. Would highly recommend.

Kike is so knowledgeable- I feel like I left with a really great understanding of the birth of Granada as a city and a full timeline of important events up to present day, all contextualised with interesting facts about important buildings

Our tour was originally supposed to be with Kike, but unfortunately, he had an unexpected issue and couldn’t make it. However, Rodolfo (Rudy) came instead – and we absolutely loved it! His knowledge is incredible, and the way he shared the information with us was equally amazing. We really enjoyed the route and everything we learned along the way. Thank you so much for everything!

Antonio’s tour was very good, his knowledge on Nicaraguan history, lots to take in. Unfortunately weather cut the walking part a bit short. Would recommend.

This is a great way to orientate both the geography and the history of the beautiful city of Granada. Gustavo is a fantastic guide who knows his city intimately. His English is excellent and his explanation is thorough. We learned so much, saw some amazing sights - the market and the cafe to support deaf people are places everyone must see who come to Granada. I highly recommend this tour.

This was a great tour, we spent time in the main square, walked through the market, to some churches and Smiles Cafe, where people with disabilities run it. Antonio gave a lot of information, was friendly and enjoyable.

Antonio clearly feels deep pride for his city - it shows in his tour! He was welcoming and approachable. He invited questions and was very invested in us learning as much as we could - about local life, the architecture of the city, and life in Nicaragua. He showed us the tourist hot-spots, and also some more unique and authentic local businesses. He seemed very practiced at tailoring his tour to requests/his audience. We’re so glad we took this tour!!

We really enjoyed the tour today! The level of knowledge that Manuel had of the city of Granada and Nicuragua as a whole was incredible! The tour contained a great mixture of historical, architectural and humorous elements and we were introduced to some great local spots along the way. Manuel was very communicative prior to the tour and as three young females we felt very safe the whole time!

Wir waren nur zu zweit, also hatten wir eine private Tour mit Antonio. Es ist Montag und Regensaison. Die Tour hat uns voll überrascht mit vielen interessanten Details die uns erzählt wurden. Antonio hat uns aufgeklärt über Granadas Geschichte, hat unsere fragen beantwortet, ist mit uns durch den Markt und hat uns die Sehenswürdigkeiten gezeigt. Am Schluss hat er uns noch über den Bürgerkrieg, Politik vom Land sowie noch über Land und Leute gesprochen. Er ist ein sehr angenehmer Tourguide mit super und verständlichem English. Er hat die Tour überzogen mit all unseren Fragen, er hat sich wirklich Zeit genommen für uns. Antonio macht dies mit Leib und Seele! Wir können diese Tour nur wärmstens empfehlen.
