Quito Food Tour

Andres was a great guide and we thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon with him. The tour was well thought out and planned, and the small vendors we met were obviously pleased to see us (which isn't always the case). We had a great time and recommend working with Andres if you have the opportunity - he's a personable, well-informed, fun guide.

One of the best ways to experience Quito! Gabi was an amazing guide who made us feel like we were exploring the city with a friend. We learned about Quito’s history, tasted delicious Ecuadorian chocolate, tried traditional canelazo, danced, laughed, and experienced the local culture in such a fun and authentic way. We left with a much deeper appreciation for this beautiful city. Highly recommend!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Joel was an outstanding guide and made our free walking tour of Quito’s Historic Center an unforgettable experience. His passion for the city’s history and culture was evident from the very beginning, and he explained everything in a way that was both engaging and easy to follow. What really stood out was how he went beyond dates and facts, sharing fascinating stories, local traditions, and historical context that brought the Old Town to life. He answered every question with enthusiasm and gave us plenty of insider tips for places to eat, visit, and explore after the tour. If you’re visiting Quito and want to truly understand the beauty and history of its historic center, I can highly recommend this tour and Joel as your guide!

This tour is a great introduction to Quito. Kevin provided us with alot of historical information. The tour was an easy walk, stopping at historical sites and finishing up with tasty Ecuadorian chocolate

Fun and enjoyable walk with a local guide, our guide Vivi, is very nice. We learned a lot about history, local produces and traditional food.

"Bites and Traditions: A Gastronomic Tour of Quito"

We had a great afternoon walking around Quito with Agar who showed us all the main churches, the historical architecture, chocolate tour and even Chawar Miske tour. We were really impressed with Agar’s enthusiasm as she showed us indigenous dancing rituals which she then made us join. 10/10 trip!

We had an incredible time on our tour. We only had 2 days in Quito, we got to see so much and learn so much history on this tour in a short time. Daniel was very knowledgeable, full of fun stories and fun to be around. We really loved all of the food and drink tasting, it made it very unique. We have done these tours in several cities around the world, this was our favorite yet. Anyone visiting Quito should sign up!

Fernando has a lot of passion and enthusiasm which comes thru in his delivery I would’ve preferred less stops in shops / commercial establishment and more history of the top sights of Quito Overall v good

Rasu is a wonderful guide whose thoughtful approach and insightful commentary deepened our understanding of Quito's history and culture. Thanks to Rasu we visited sights that we were completely unaware of, including a terrace above the historic centre where he pointed out landmarks that we could not see from street level. I especially loved the details of Ecuadorian national symbols that he pointed out on the Basilica (Condors and Iguanas on a Catholic church!). It's details like these that give you a sense of context and the idiosyncrasies of a place. Thank you Rasu for sharing Quito with us!
