Kevin did a very nice job of showing you around the old town including chocolate tasting, local art gallery. We enjoyed it!!!!
This is a great walking tour. Especially if your time in Quito is limited. Oscar was our guide and he was fantastic
It was a great tour with lots of information about the history and culture of the city. I loved trying local treats and learning more about Quito and the native people of Ecuador. Stephanie Nicole was expressive, fun and knowledgeable. She’s a 10,10,10!
Vivi has been amazing at introducing us to the local customs and answering all of our questions. We had a wonderful morning and would definitely recomend!
Wir haben viel erfahren und viel kosten dürfen. Danke für die tolle Tour.
Kevin is such a nice guy and the tour was worth every minute :)
Vivi did a fantastic job- learned a lot of history of Quito and Equator in a fun entertaining way. The route we went on was great - stopped and did a number of tasting- learned about local food and traditions!! Highly recommend !!
Rasu was extremely knowledgeable and shared interesting details about the cultures, history and gastronomic influences around the city. The tours was a nice mixture of different things. Taos was entertaining and friendly and our group was small.
Great guide, knew his stuff, friendly and professional. We enjoyed being with him!
Stefany was a great tour guide! Super nice and very knowledgeable and interesting. Even when we did the various tastings/activity, there was a little time to buy something if you wanted to, but I didn’t feel any pressure at all. I highly recommend this tour!
I had an amazing experience with Ale. Although I was the only participant, she didn’t cancel the tour, but ran the tour with enthusiasm. She showed me local places with delicious food and told me many interesting stories. I had a great time as if I was walking with a friend. Thank you very much. I highly recommend this tour
Really interesting tour with Rasu! He not only told us a lot about the city's history, but also about Ecuadorian food and drinks that we tried at different places in the city.
We had a great time - tried different local meals, learned a lot about local fruits, local chocolate production and local traditions. Highly recommend! Thank you Adriana!
Rasu provided a wealth of information about the colonial and religious history and architecture as well as indigenous culture of Quito and a bit of fun.
We had an absolutely incredible walking tour in Quito with Alejandro, and honestly it ended up being one of the highlights of our time in the city. First of all, he went above and beyond before the tour even properly started. We were running late (by quite a bit!) and he patiently waited for us for over half an hour without any pressure or stress. That immediately set the tone for the experience: relaxed, kind, and genuinely focused on making sure we had a great time rather than rushing through a checklist. What was meant to be a walking tour turned into more than four hours of exploring Quito together, and not once did we feel like he was watching the clock. Alejandro has an incredible depth of knowledge about the city - its history, culture, food, traditions, and everyday life - but he shares it in such a natural, engaging way that it never feels like a lecture. It felt more like walking around with a very knowledgeable local friend who loves his city and wants you to see the best parts of it. One thing we really appreciated was how flexible and attentive he was to our preferences. At the start, we mentioned that we didn’t really want to pay for entrance tickets to attractions, and he respected that completely. Not once did he try to upsell or push us toward paid sites. Instead, he tailored the entire experience around free viewpoints, beautiful streets, local spots, and hidden gems that we would never have found on our own. He also introduced us to so many local stores and restaurants along the way where we were able to try free tastings, from traditional treats to local specialties, and by the end of the tour we were so full we didn’t even need dinner! It felt like such an authentic way to experience Quito’s food scene, and it was clear he has strong relationships with local businesses. Everywhere we went, people seemed genuinely happy to see him, which says a lot about the kind of person he is. Another highlight was how relaxed the pace was. At one point we stopped for hot chocolate at a café and he was completely happy to just sit, chat, and let us enjoy the moment without any sense of rushing. That flexibility made the whole experience feel personal and easygoing. Alejandro is not only incredibly knowledgeable but also genuinely warm, friendly, and easy to connect with. By the end of the tour, it honestly felt like we had spent the afternoon with a friend rather than a guide and we even caught ourselves saying we missed him the next day, which probably says everything you need to know. If you’re considering a walking tour in Quito, I cannot recommend Alejandro highly enough. Whether it’s your first time in the city or you want a deeper local perspective, he will tailor the experience to you and make sure you leave with a real appreciation for Quito.
Stefy was amazing! The tour was not long enough, I could have spent all day with her learning about the history. We had lots of chances to try tradicional drinks and foods, and even danced for a bit!! 10/10 would recommend
Oscar was an amazing guide! He told us so many new things and was very entertaining to spend time with. Would highly recommend to do a food tour with :)
20min walking a lot of talking
We really enjoyed this tour. Daniel was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and made it super interesting
It was a great tour, with variety of activities. Tequila, chocolate tasting, native dances....Vivi speaks fast and it is a little difficult to understand for people whos English is a second language.
We really enjoyed Daniel's tour. Very interesting, lots of fun. Would definitely recommend to others.
This is a great tour and something different from the usual sights and history. Oscar is fantastic and we have done a lot of these - recommend 100%
An excellent tour
