I do recommend Jules, he tells many interesting stories, lets us try local fruits that we never heard of. Very interesting.

Jules is truly amazing and a great host in addition to being an awesome guide. His tour is focused on culture, history, food and fun facts. He keeps the tour pace right and makes every participant feel special. His food stops were well paced and his hosting us to taste a lot of local food in a park in picnic style was inimitable. Pura Vida! Jules was a fantastic representative of the Costa Rica spirit. He immersed us in a well paced and choreographed tour of Downtown area San Jose. He really took the time to throughly shared both sights and interesting histories of Costa Rica! We received some interesting and tasty treats during our tour in a most wonderful way! MARCO was great, really knowledgeable but also personal which you need in a guide. He took us around downtown, sharing his insights and recommmedations which as a solo traveller I really appreciated.

This was a great mix of the expected, major attractions as well as some hand-picked more personal destinations and experiences (fresh coconut water at the fruit stand, snack in the park, inside look at boutique hotel and high end hostel, art exhibit in high end hotel.)

Pablo was a great guide. He communicated well before the tour and took account of my requests. He introduced us to locals along the way; he was very friendly and informative. The tour covered things like chocolate tasting, trying sweet empeñados, guanabana juice, information about stalls within the market and lots of local snippets of information about buildings and places of interest.

One of the best walking tours we had. Jules really showed us different parts of the city and explained things about Costa Rican culture, traditions and food. And had a Picknick in the park prepared. Definitely recommend!

Good introduktion to areas outsider the common path

We had an excellent tour with Jules, approx. 4 h walk with history and culture information to Costa Rica and San Jose, a lot of practical tipps and to top spots in San Jose. A perfect tour!

Excellent introduction to San Jose, Costa Rica! Jules made us feel like we were walking with a local friend abd he was prepared with lots of food for picnic and bought us fresh fruit juice in local grocery stores! The pace was perfect, and he always made sure we were in the shade while explaining the significance of the buildings. I really appreciated the insider tips on where to go next. Don't forget to wear comfortable shoes and tip your guru—they truly earn it!
