The places we visited were beautiful, and he gave us a real insight into Costa Rican culture. You can truly see the preparation and dedication he puts into his work. Highly recommended!

Jules was fantastic! Even though the other participants didn’t show up, he continued the tour just for our family of three, which we really appreciated. We learned so many fascinating things, even details that some of our Costa Rican friends didn’t know! The pace of the tour was perfect, with enough time for breaks and refreshments. Jules was also incredibly thoughtful and prepared for the unpredictable weather, bringing umbrellas and even snacks. It felt like a truly personalized and enjoyable experience.

A must do tour! Jules was very informative in so many aspects. He took us to see art and culture, food, history, crafts ad so much more. Highly recommended!

Thanks Jules for such a great tour. I was hoping to learn more about the Costa Rica's history and culture after visiting the provincial parks on the pacific coast; Jules fulfilled this! He has LOTS of information to take in, answers questions as he can and takes care of us making sure we are not too hot or dehydrated by finding shaded areas and even indoor seating for a break! Some nice surprises on the tour :).

El tour duró 4 horas y media, una hora más de lo que estaba escrito, así que asegúrate de que tienes suficiente tiempo cuando haces un tour con él, pero valió la pena. Nos llevó a lugares muy interesantes y nos recomendó lugares bonitos para comer.

This tour was very good value. We enjoyed our walking route, and our guide also kindly brought all sorts of local fruits for us to try during an impromptu picnic in the park - delicious! We learned all sorts of interesting tidbits of information along the way about Costa Rica, and San Jose. Thank you for the hospitality!

Good tour. I would speed up national theater setting some. Also, focus a little more on current happenings and development of city. We did learn a lot. Just a few tweaks and this tour would be great!!

Wonderful tour with a lot of surprises! The guide, Jules, is a very good teacher. He shares alot of fun facts that we can’t wait to share with others! He knows alot about the history of Costa Rica and he is very generous of his time.

Jules is a very knowledgeable guide with lots of stories and fun trivia. He also integrates art spaces and parks with cultural spots. The tour starts off with a lot of standing but once walking it is interesting and enjoyable. We HIGHLY recommend doing this tour with Jules if you get a chance.

Good walkthrough San Jose. This is my second tour through the city and we talked about new things that I hadn't talked about in other tours. Very good tour!

Tour guide is very enthusiastic about Costa Rica and provides a lot information for new arrivals. Considerate and thoughtful. During his long talks, he makes sure you are in the shade or able to sit down. Provides more of an overview of the city and takes you to some of the main tourists points in San Jose. Good for people who are looking to get a sense of the city and aren’t interested in long walks.

The guide spoke perfect English, which was a very nice surprise. He was very knowledgeable about the city and the history of Costa Rica. And the way he did the new was fresh. With not only a focus on stories but also on local people, places like fruit stalls and cuisine. Very interactive.

Surprised! I travel around the world and have done Free Walking Tours very, very often. This one easily makes it on my podium! Very knowledgeable, plenty of fun facts, super nice itinerary, very natural -it was like walking with a friend-. He has everything I could wish for and more. He even brought refreshments!
