Cuéntame Toledo is a Cultural Association that emerged in 2012 with clear objectives: recover the historical rigor and respect for the city of Toledo in the dissemination of its Heritage, both among residents and visitors, and expand knowledge about Toledo with new lines of investigation and denounce attacks on the heritage suffered by the city. To meet the objectives, in addition to making routes, we are involved in the cultural promotion of the city with the publication of books, research, media collaborations and the direct financing of cultural projects such as Matadero-Lab, the Voix Vives Poetry Festival or the International Historic Fencing Meeting and the organization of free and inclusive routes for the National Hospital for Paraplegics, Down Madrid or AVAFIS.
Toledo is the city that treasures the largest number of stories and legends in the world, with references even in the Thousand and One Nights. Each civilization has left behind it an immense set of hundreds of documented stories about the Millennial city, the Magic City or the Levitical city. Toledo is a mystery that we will unravel through its medieval neighborhoods where Templars, builders and stonemasons coexisted, with witches, canons and inquisitors, where we will learn the history of the mummies of Saint Andrew, the Callejon de los Muertos and the School of Translators. We will tell you the legends about the witches, the rogues, the poets, the monks and alchemists who made the City of the School of Translators and the great medieval sages famous. You can also complement it with any of our other tours. None of our routes repeat content or tour and our gurus are the best in Toledo. * It is suggested to give the guide at least € 10 / pax (this would be the guide's payment plus the expenses per platform) If you are a group of more than 5 people there is a fixed amount stipulated, which will be paid at the beginning of the tour, of 5 € / person. At the end of the tour you can complete your contribution with the amount you consider (an additional € 5 / person is recommended) * This tour only guarantees departure if a minimum group of 5 people is formed. Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
