Although I have grown up in Arusha, I have been exposed to other regions including Kilimanjaro, Dar es salaam, Manyara and Mwanza. I am a tourism Certified guide with 3 years’ of experience in Mountain climbing and wildlife Safaris. I had worked as tour coordinator and reservation officer for more than three years for a well-established tour operator here in Tanzania. These 1-day African safaris and tours provide just the answer for you, to get a brief but unforgettable African wildlife safari experience in one of three Tanzanian National Parks. can be arranged to start from Arusha town.
After breakfast you are met by our driver, who will deliver a short safari info briefing, after which we travel east to the Arusha National Park. This small but beautiful Tanzanian National Park is the closest national park to both the famous Arusha “safari town” -35km as well as the Kilimanjaro International Airport, thus making it ideal for 1-day safaris or tours. Not only is the animal life in the park abundant, but it is also one of the most beautiful and topographically varied parks in Tanzania.
We will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and do a morning and afternoon game drive, visiting both the Momela Lakes and the Ngurdoto Crater. Wildlife which could be seen include African buffalos, elephants, hippos, giraffe, warthogs, antelopes, zebras, blue monkeys and sometimes a rare leopard or hyena. Late afternoon we depart for Arusha where we will end our safari adventure. You will be taken to your hotel, which ends our tour package services.
Although this tour is free the Clients will cover all associated costs such as transfer, park entry fee, and picnic lunch box. In the end, you will give us tips for the services we provided.
1. The meeting point will be at Clock Tower Post Office, then will start our trip to Arusha National Park, You will be picked in your near by Hotel and be dropped off after safari. 2. The following is the fees structure. - Entry fee $60 per person - Transport fee is $300 - Walking fee $24 per person -Lunch box $10 per person
A combined walking and jeep safari tour as a day tour, gives you a wonderful varied view of the Arusha National Parks. In the morning we will pick you from your hotel and take you to Arusha National Park. Your day trip will include a visit to the ngurudoto Crater, often called little ngorongoro. At the Momella Gate, an armed ranger will be waiting for you to accompany you on your walking safari.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
