Tour description

The tour aims to offer the history of the city and the country in an educational way. Also, capture with your camera the best views of the city from the top of Mount Gellért.
In this alternative tour we will begin as follows: - We will leave from the entrance of the Rudas Spa, which by the way I recommend attending even if it is not touristy since it is one of the oldest and best preserved (year 1550). - We will climb to the top of Mount Gellért, where the highest point of the city is located and a historical place where we will take the best shots of the city and appreciate its monuments. - We will descend to see the Gellert Spa and the Budapest Market and we will go to see the Jewish quarter area to visit the important points of this historic neighborhood. - The tour will end in Szimpla, a ruined bar in the Jewish quarter area. In this tour, we will talk about the following topics: - The independence of March 15, 1848. - Hungary's participation in the two world wars. - The Treaty of Trianon. - Nazism in Hungary. - The revolution of 1956. - Communism in Hungary. The government of Mátyás Rákosi who described himself as "Stalin's best Hungarian disciple." - Post communism. - The current government of Viktor Orbán What is it like to live in Hungary today?
