Fernando was an excellent guide and I can’t recommend this tour enough! If you want to learn about the colorful history of Merida, it’s important characters, and Centro’s hidden gems in addition to taking incredible photos, this is the tour for you. His passion for the city is infectious and after the tour, we started visiting the free museums and restaurants he recommended, which have all been great. Thank you again Fernando!!

Fernando was great, very personable and knowledgeable. We didn’t cover as much ground as I thought for a photography based tour, but I learned a lot of things about Merida, and it made me appreciate the city more.

Fernando was a great guide. He was very friendly and informative. He gave us a lot of recommendations for places to eat and things to do that would give us even more information on the history of Merida. He showed us some things on how to use our phone’s camera to help us take even better pictures. He gave us new ideas about how to look at things so our pictures were more artistic. We really enjoyed the early morning walk because there weren’t so many people. The time went by too quickly and I wish we had even more time with him. I highly recommend the tour with Fernando!

Es war eine sehr interessante Tour in der uns Fernando nicht nur viel über Merida und dessen Geschichte erzählte, sondern auch noch die besten Foto-Spots zeigte. 10/10!

While a 7:00 start was a bit brutal, it was well worth it - good light, fewer people, cooler temperatures. Ferdinand provided an interesting and informative routing, as well as useful “local knowledge” on some camera perspectives. Predominately iPhone based, but good creativity. Another “hit” for Guru tours. Thanks!
