Mythology and history around Donostia and the basque country

We will travel through the dawn of a civilization full of mythological legends, which have shaped a particular way of understanding life that will bring us the possibility to understand the Basque culture.

We will walk through the history and culture of a city where past and present have combined themselves to create a special identity. As a result, San Sebastian has been a city that has come up with the fascination of kings and personalities from all around the world.

Itinerary:

1. Paseo Nuevo: We will have some explanaitions about Gros neighbourhood and some recomendations so that you can eat cheap and nicely. I will tell you something about Basque Mithology.

2. Urgul Mountain (just 5 minutes hiking, no worries): We will continue by Urgul for a really nice sightseeing. I will tell you the main leyends that Basque Mithology has given and will explain the main characters of the culture (the conection with nature, the family organitation, the values, the conection with magic...), that still remain and have been existing all over the times. As well, I will also explain you the history from the begining till the Contempory History.

3. Old Town: This part will be dedicated to the Contempory History, the actual basque culture and Pintxo recomendatios.

4. Boulevard and Concha Bay: We will talk about the Belle Epoque and the living of the Kings in San Sebastián. We will end the tour with some beautiful tales about San Sebastián.

I will also recomend along the tour a lot of beautiful non turistic places and I will also give some tricks, so that you can have the best experience as posible.
