Tour description

A walking tour gives you an opportunity to get acquainted with the historical parts of Baku, famous and impressive buildings built during the oil rush in the early 19th century and having the influence of Italian, Polish and Russian architecture. As you stroll through the streets of the Old City, you will learn about its history dating back to the 7th century CE. You will hear about the unique culture and traditions of the local people from our experienced guide. The tours include these tourist visits: 1) Gubernator Park. 2) Philharmonic Concert Hall. 3) Pink building. 4) President Hall. 5) Historic buildings from the 18th century. 6) Constellation spring. 7) Governor's Hall (current executive branch of the city of Baku) 8) University of Economics. 9) Independence Monument. 10) Old parliamentary building. 11) Historical school for Muslim girls. 12) Azerbaijan SSR Academy of Sciences. 13) Sabir Park. 14) Old city. 15) Old green park. 16) Maiden's Tower. 17) Palace of King Shirvanshah. 18) Miniature Book Museum. 0.5 liters of water are provided. Lunch, entrance fees to the museum are not included in the travel plan.
