Tour description

Discover Lisbon at your own pace with a private half-day walking tour tailored to your interests.

Explore the city’s most iconic neighborhoods, from the historic streets of Alfama to the vibrant Bairro Alto, or ancient district of Mouraria and even the history Belém.

You can choose one of the tour locations of which you like the most.

Each district has its own unique charm:

Alfama is the soul of old Lisbon, a labyrinth of narrow streets, hidden courtyards, and traditional Fado houses. From the stunning viewpoints of Miradouro de Santa Luzia and Portas do Sol to the magnificent Sé Cathedral, Alfama is a must-see for history lovers.

Bairro Alto & Chiado are the cultural and bohemian heart of Lisbon. By day, explore the Livraria Bertrand (the world’s oldest bookstore) and the Carmo Convent ruins; by night, experience the lively bars and music-filled streets of Bairro Alto. Chiado’s elegant cafés and theaters make it a favorite for literature and art enthusiasts.

Belém is the Age of Discoveries comes to life in this historic district. Visit Jerónimos Monastery (a UNESCO site), the Monument to the Discoveries, and the Belém Tower, and don’t forget to taste the famous Pastéis de Belém, Portugal’s iconic custard tart.

Mouraria is a melting pot of cultures and the birthplace of Fado music. Once home to Lisbon’s Moorish population, Mouraria now hosts a mix of Portuguese, African, and Asian influences. Highlights include the Fado murals, hidden street art, and authentic local eateries.
