We were born in 2018 as a response to a job opportunity that we decided to undertake, in order to take advantage of the increase in visitors that increasingly come to our city as a tourist destination. Ponferrada Castle is the most important monument in the city. Founded by the enigmatic Order of the Temple in the 12th century, it was declared a national monument in 1924. With an area of 8,000m2, it is the largest medieval castle in northwestern Spain.

Important information for the traveler:
The start of the visit is on Calle Gil y Carrasco, in front of the Ponferrada Tourist Office. Our guides will go with a RED umbrella / jacket with our company name, Leonesa Tours (Guided Tours).
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
