Pura Vida Tour - San José Free Walking Tour
My name is David, I'm from Costa Rica. I like traveling to other countries. I have taken free tours in several cities such as London and Amsterdam, or had the opportunity to be guided in Paris by local people. So when visiting those cities again, I discovered that I loved to share experiences and advices about Monuments, Parks, Squares or any important place to visit with people who were first time at those cities. At the City where I live, San Jose, I continue to enjoy that passion with traveler friends from overseas and Guruwalk community. My hobbies are finding my next travel experience, planning low cost trips, learning languages and things about new cultures. Hopefully, opening a Youtube channel about my travels will integrate part of my spare time.
The best free tour to be known in San José!.
Be delighted about San José´s history and culture, taking a promenade passing by the main buildings and tourist attractions, along with brief and amusing explanations on their relevance and national importance.
What are we going to see?
The National Museum, The Gold Museum, The Jade Museum, The National Theater, Culture Square, among other iconic buildings. The walk also includes ¨Avenida Central¨ which is the main Avenue in the Capital of Costa Rica. Last schedule of The Tour at 18:00 varies the places to visit in order to provide better security because at that time it gets dark.
Have a funny time discovering Costa Ricans' urban life and more.

Plaza de la Democracia, in front is the National Museum, at first glance you can see a huge gate with stairs, I will await for you there!! Please do not confuse with the entrance of the Museum, because there could be other Gurus and take the wrong Tour.
How much does this tour cost?
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
