About the tour
Join our free tour of the historic center of Krakow: the old town and the Jewish quarter. During a single tour you can visit all the important places and monuments of the beautiful city of Krakow! Without Krakow, there would be no Poland. This is where the beating heart of the Polish nation is still located. History and time have been merciful to the architecture of Krakow, so you will walk for centuries enjoying the true pearls on the monuments. The historic center has not been rebuilt since medieval times and this is a UNESCO site. Krakow is one of the most charming places in the world and we will try it during our tour. Would you like to see the dragon? Why do we have so many pigeons? Why does a madman touch the four windows every hour? Whose head is in the square? What is a papal window? These questions and many others will be answered by our authorized guides with many smiles. The Jewish quarter is also an exceptional place, as it is the only neighborhood of this type that survived the Nazi occupation in Poland. Why? And what are the theories of historians about it? We will bring it to light during our tour that includes the most important synagogues of the Kazimierz district, and the places where famous Jews lived peacefully alongside the Christian community for centuries. We will talk about the Holocaust, Oscar Schindler, Spielberg's "Schindler List", and many other important topics. On the way back we will walk through the same streets where Schindler's List was filmed.
