About the Guru

I was born and raised in Rome, the Eternal City. I am a Licensed Tour Guide and I graduated in History of Rome. I love meeting people from all over the world, sharing with them my knowledge of the most important sights along with the lesser known ones. Being a Tour Guide means to me leading tours with passion and with a hint of humor.

About the Tour

The BEST tour to see a large number of Rome's most famous sights in less than 3 hours. The tour starts in Piazza Navona ( Navona Square), built on the site of the Stadium of Domitian, with its amazing fountains. Then we will move to the Pantheon, the best preserved ancient roman building still standing. I will later lead you to the Spanish Steps, an amazing scenario to shoot some pictures before we reach the Trevi Fountain, just remember to have some coins ready to toss in! Last sight will be Venice Square where you will also enjoy the view of the Colosseum. Minimum 2 people

Meeting point: Open in Google Maps

How to find me: Piazza Navona, at the entrance of the Brazilian Embassy. Look for the brazilian flag waving, I will be standing right below that flag. I will hold a stick with an headscarf on top

Awesome tour and awesome guide! The tour was really interesting, and fun. You can tell from the first moment how knowledgeable and passionate about history Maria is, always willing to answer any question and show you the historical and contemporary side of the city. Her explanations were simple, but at the same time full of content, from the ancient Roman Empire to the Second World War — a tour you MUST take. We really really enjoyed the tour and for sure will join her again the next time we come to Rome. Thank you for everything!

We had a wonderful afternoon tour with Maria! Super well informed guide, very eager to give us the best experience possible and adapting the tour to a 9 year old boy that was touring with us. Thank you very much for your time!

Excelente tour por las calles de Roma para conocer la historia de esos pequeños lugares que apreciamos pero no sabes de las transformaciones que han vivido.

Response from MariaGrazia

Maria is a wonderful guide, full of facts and knowledge who will give you context of what you'll visit and a lot of tips. A true roman that will teach how to proprely drink water in a nassone. Advise: Rome don't have many ATM so be prepared with cash to tip generously because it is worth it.

Thank you Rui for your review. Glad to know you enjoyed the tour. Have a great day!
