Very informative with good architectural information and interesting historical facts. Visited some places we would not have found with a guidebook and learnt something about the flora and fauna of the island.

Mia was great but it was a very soft history of Funchal. For international travellers with am interest in colonialism, more facts about the Levadas and the system of irrigation, sugar cane crops and how Funchal prototyped chattel slavery.

Perfect length of time. I'm sure there could be another hours worth of information about this city. But 3 hours is a perfect length for this. Good balance between history culture and tips for being here
