Hi! My name is Lucia. I am an international educator born in Valencia, who is passionate about local culture and traditions. I have lived in several countries all over the world, so I know very well what makes a place special. I am great communicator and I speak English at native speaker level. My city has lots of exciting things to do, amazing places to visit and secrets and curiosities I can help you discover. I have experience doing guided tours in cities like Dublin, Ireland. I want to make you feel at home in my hometown and share with you an unforgettable time.

About the tour

Offered from 14th to 19th March, during the Fallas Week, this is a unique tour that combines the history, culture and art of the Valencian festivity Las Fallas, including details of all the features that are part of it: ninots (statues), costumes, mascletas (gunpowder shows), falleros club houses, flower offering, music, and so on, all sprinkled with anecdotes and true experiences from a genuine local guide.

We’ll be visiting 6 fallas in total, some of them which belong to Special Section and others which are called ‘alternative’ because of their different art style. We’ll start at the Town Hall Square to admire and explain the meaning of the spectacular falla. From there, we’ll walk to the historic Central Market falla (Special Section) nearby and continue through the old quarter streets to visit two alternative fallas and two more of the oldest and most important Special Section fallas.

We'll stop at a local bar to taste one of the many Valencian traditional drinks
