The Calafate walking tour staff is made up of four guides; Iris and Yanira, both born in Patagonia, who like to sympathetically share local customs and experiences; Brenda and Marcelo have extensive experience with over twenty years living and working in Patagonia, who transmit their deep knowledge in a clear and expeditious way. The town of El Calafate is located on the shores of Lake Argentino and close to the Andes, and offers natural access to Los Glaciares National Park and the imposing Perito Moreno Glacier. Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
