Excellent route, details, level of humanity and empathy for historical tragedies of the population. He showed us some moving topics as well as some cute and fun things. He did not waste time showing us which coffee shops to go to (easy info to find otherwise). He shared his pride, anxieties, and hopes as a Hungarian.

Istvan is knowledgeable on everything Budapest and makes the tour very entertaining. He ensured the group is interactive and frequently cracks jokes to keep the mood light. He goes into details of the history of Budapest and it’s hidden gems which really helped us in getting to know the city better. He also has fun trivia questions during the tour and gives chocolates to people who answer them. Overall, it was a fun tour and would definitely recommend him for everyone.

Istanbul gave a great tour showing you little things that other guides did not show you. This was my second city tour with the first a different tour group. They were very good and I learned and saw many things in budapest. This tour repeated some of the highlights but also gave you more of a personal insight into other parts of the city that I did not get on the first tour. Both were great with a little overlap
