We came at a great time of year and it was easy to hear and understand her as the crowds were very thin. If you ever find yourself in Split during the winter, it’s actually the perfect time to join a free walking tour. The weather is was actually not that cold (though it can be a little windy), and one of the greatest perks is experiencing the city without the usual crowds. With quiet, empty streets, you can truly take in the beauty and atmosphere at a relaxed pace. Our guide, Ana, is a historian with an impressive depth of knowledge about Split’s rich past. She delivered the tour in such an engaging and entertaining way that it felt less like a history lesson and more like a captivating story unfolding around us. Her passion for the city really shines through. Since there were hardly any tourists visiting at that time, we were the only participants — which meant we had a completely private tour. Even our dog was welcome to join, making the experience even more special and personal. I can wholeheartedly recommend this free walking tour. Ana, you were fantastic — 10/10! Thank you for such a memorable experience.

The guided tour with Ana was a wonderful experience! When you are shown around the city by a knowledgeable and well-educated guide like Ana, all you need to do is relax and enjoy. Since it was winter, I was the only guest, but that didn’t affect the tour at all, Ana spent 1.5 hours guiding me through the most interesting parts of the old town. Highly recommended!

It was rainy and cold in Split and we were the only 2 people on the tour. But Magdalena did an amazing job of bringing the history and places alive with her storytelling and enthusiasm. We started the day wondering whether we should do the tour on a day like this and ended the tour liking the city so much more.
