Meet your guide at the starting point and go to learn about important historical events, personalities, and legends behind the most iconic landmarks of Condesa and Roma neighborhoods in Mexico City. Start in Condesa, an area that was once the home of Mexico’s biggest cinematic stars of the 1940s and ’50s. There are more trees here than in any other part of the city as well as a big number of fine restaurants, shops, and galleries. One of the gems of this part of the capital is its rich Art Deco architecture.
Take your time studying beautiful forms ambling down Amsterdam Avenue, a tree-lined street that follows the route of the city’s old horse track. Roma is the first “modern” community in the city that also has an abundance of excellent shops, restaurants, cafés, markets, and galleries. Head down Alvaro Obregon Avenue and appreciate the beauty of fountains and sculptures by talented Mexican artists.

Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
