With our professional guide we will tour the historic center of the city, considered a World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1983. In addition, Cusco is considered the capital of the Inca civilization.
We will not only show you the rich history
but the history that is kept in each street, each square and each special corner of this city.
We will begin the tour by visiting the typical San Pedro Market where we will have the opportunity to see the living culture of our city.
Continuing with our walk we will do a wide exhibition of the main square of the city of Cusco called Wakaypata in our mother language Quechua, where we will tell about events of great importance that arose and occurred in this square. You will also observe the mix of Inca and colonial architecture that they still keep in their foundations. We will make a stop at Plaza San Francisco , considered the Botanical Garden of the City .
We will visit the magnificent Qoricancha , temple of the sun in the Inca period, today it still preserves in its walls and buildings the heritage left by our Inca architects.
We also tour the Inca palaces of Cusicancha, the Inca Rock Palace , the famous stone of the 12 angles. We will travel in time since this city is 3000 years old. In each street, plaza, small square we will find the legacy left to us by the Great Inca civilization as well as the colonial mansions.
Finally we will visit the oldest neighborhood in the city, El Barrio de San Blas, considered the artisans' neighborhood.
At the end of our tour at the San Blas viewpoint , we will enjoy a beautiful view from the oldest neighborhood of the city.
