  •  We will get off the train to continue walking in another important and historical area of the city in the direction of Avenida Balboa.
  •  After crossing the street and admiring part of our skyline (a copy of Miami in Central America), we will take a bus in the direction to Panama Viejo, the first Spanish city founded in the Pacific.
  •  Once here we will begin our walk through its history and streets, bridges, and forts; we will enter the ruins of its convents and cathedrals.
  •  Visit Panama Viejo's small museum and the majestic tower that once guarded the treasures that united two worlds.
  •  Walk to a bus stop to return to where we started the tour.
  •  Walk to the metro station to return to your hotel.

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT

  • The Guruwalk platform has a free tour policy, yes it is true, but as you will understand, the free category indicates that to make a reservation it is not necessary to contact a travel agency or a tour operator, where a tour of this type costs up to 50.00 per person.  Instead of this, a free reservation can be made directly with the Guide.  However, it should be known that the Guide is a professional with years of experience, graduated and specialized in Geographical, Ecological, Historical and Cultural Tourism.  That also works for very renowned agencies.  Therefore, I expects to be gratified according to my knowledge and the service provided. I'm not a chatterbox or just a storyteller and I dont do tours for 5.00 $ per person.
  • Payments or tips are not accepted by Paypal or other applications.  Make sure you have enough cash before attending the tour.
  • With all my respects, I ask the ladies to take in consideration that we will walk through places that are not so touristy and with a different culture and education, so you must be prudent with your clothing ( not very short pants, miniskirts, very low cut blouses), to avoid hearing ungentlemanly phrases.

This was my second tour with Jorge so I knew him as an excellent, professional and knowledgeable guide already. As I did the tour with him in casco viejo it was super interesting to go back to the beginning to Panama Viejo and connect the dots. Another highlight for sure was taking the metro and bus and learning about the development of the new parts of Panama. I assume each tour with Jorge is awesome because he just manages to bring history and architecture to life by sharing stories.
